Empowering communities to build a resilient and sustainable food ecosystem

FUND4AID leverages blockchain technology to support the UNDP Tadamon Accelerator for Food Security

The Tadamon Accelerator for Food Security is a thematic accelerator focused on capacity building and grant-giving for civil society organizations (CSOs). It addresses complex challenges in 12 countries—Afghanistan, Burkina Faso, Chad, Djibouti, Libya, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, the State of Palestine, Somalia, Sudan, and Yemen—by enhancing food security through two key thematic tracks:

01

Climate-Smart Agriculture

02

Emerging Technologies for Food Access and Utilization

The accelerator is implemented by the UNDP AltFinLab team from the UNDP Istanbul Regional Hub and is funded by the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) and the Islamic Solidarity Fund for Development (ISFD).

As part of the Accelerator, 100 CSOs will be selected to participate in the training, and 50 of them will receive grants totaling $850,000.

Our vision is to address food insecurity by empowering CSOs with innovative tools and strategies to build sustainable food systems. Through strategic partnerships and tailored support, we bring leaders and managers together and empower them to scale their impact and drive progress towards a more sustainable future.
